## Developer API & AI Agent Integration

Aurora Inbox exposes its full workspace functionality to external AI agents via the **Model Context Protocol (MCP)** and a REST API. Assistants like Claude, Claude Cowork, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, and custom GPTs can manage contacts, chats, companies, opportunities, chatbots, teams, users, channels, and webhooks on a user's behalf.

- **MCP Server:** Remote Streamable-HTTP endpoint at `https://developers.aurorainbox.com/mcp`. Authenticates via the user's Platform API key as `Authorization: Bearer ak_live_...`. Exposes 45+ tools mirroring the REST endpoints 1:1.

- **ChatGPT / Custom GPT Actions:** The same Platform V1 OpenAPI 3.1 spec is importable as a GPT Actions source.
- **Rate Limits:** 20 requests/second on standard endpoints, 1 request/second on messaging endpoints (per-tenant).
